You'll find sandy beaches and lots to do between award-winning Minnis Bay, West Bay, St Mildred’s Bay, Westbrook Bay, Margate Main Sands, Walpole Bay, Joss Bay, Stone Bay, Viking Bay, Louisa Bay, Ramsgate Main Sands and Western Undercliff.

Take a Boat Trip from Ramsgate for up-close views of seals, birds and off-shore wind farms. Or hang on tight and enjoy beach-side rides at Margate Main Sands, Joss Bay, Viking Bay and Ramsgate Main Sands. Plenty of mini and adventure golf courses keep family competitiveness cranked up high.

This string of sandy coves is linked by the stunning Viking Coastal Trail – arguably Kent’s most attractive seaside leisure cycle and walking route. Nearly two-thirds is traffic free and nearby railway stations and bike hire points make it ideal for family rides.
