An evening of art, music, dance and community at the Turner Contemporary in Margate.
5.30pm - 9pm
The multisensory programming will feature live music and DJ sets, improv dance, sound healing, and meditation workshops, performances, and a panel talk with representatives and special guests of People Dem Collective and Diasporas Now on nurturing diverse discourses and sustainable social change in the cultural industries – all served with curated offerings of cocktails and cuisines.
Movements from the Margins is inspired by Clark’s legacy on the Abstract Expressionist movement, and his own strategies of seeking global support networks to platform perspectives from the peripheries into the cultural canon.
The shop and café will remain open with a paid bar.
