Drawing inspiration from vintage photography and home movies, Amy Dury brings a unique blend of nostalgia and modernity to the canvas. The exhibition features a vivid palette, and a mix of expressive representation alongside detailed passages. "The show is intertwined with my memories of holidays at Margate as a child", says Dury. "Looking at vintage photographs, movies, and using AI helps me make sense of these ideas, which include donkeys, mothers and nostalgia."
