World Poetry Slam Champion Harry Baker brings his beloved podcast to life at ARK, Cliftonville's Cultural Space

Since last season Harry has had a baby and is techinically on paternity leave but the one exception is his other baby which is this baby of a night at new home ARK Cliftonville with Special Guest Jasmine Gardosi.
Each week a different guest joins World Poetry Slam Champion Harry Baker to share something old, something new, Something Borrowed, and something blue. Sometimes poems, sometimes music, always a good time.
Alongside some chat and performance from Harry and special guest Jasmine Gardosi, there will be an open mic where all are welcome to perform a poem or song (either original or Something Borrowed (!)
Harry Baker’s TED Talks have been watched by millions of people and translated into over 20 different languages. He has two books published with Burning Eye and his newest collection, Wonderful, is out now, accompanied by a tour around the UK and Ireland.
Jasmine Gardosi is the former Birmingham Poet Laureate and an Honorary Doctor of Letters. They are a multiple slam champion, beatboxer, winner of the Out-Spoken Prize for Poetry and winner of the Saboteur Award for Best Spoken Word Performer 2023. Their work exploring identity, LGBTQ issues and mental health has appeared on Button Poetry, at the Tate Modern, Glastonbury Festival, Symphony Hall and BBC. They were featured on Sky Arts' BAFTA-winning show Life & Rhymes and their poem about the pandemic, filmed on a rollercoaster, was broadcast across America on PBS. They have taken their poetry across Europe, including at Romania’s Transylvania International Spoken Word Festival, and Estonia’s historical, first-ever queer poetry slam for Baltic Pride. Most recently, they were funded by West Midlands Combined Authority to perform and run workshops for the poetry and queer communities in the Philippines.
