An afternoon talk and tea at the Portland Centre in St Peter's
2pm
This 30 minute talk is a gentle meander through the history of the village of St Peter's-in-Thanet... What will we discover? A cow in a tree, smallpox in the pub, smugglers in the High Street and secrets in the church!
It's followed by complementary tea, coffee and cakes, and admission is by donation to the charities ShelterBox, Pilgrims Hospices and the KSS Air Ambulance.
There is a free car park across the road from the Portland Centre, which is fully accessible. The 37 bus also stops opposite by the Co-op.
Tickets, by donation, available from the Parish Office 01843 866061 or parishoffice@stpeterinthanet.org.uk
Donations welcome
