The Cupboard is Liminal Gallery’s second exhibition space - tiny but sleek, it is exclusively available to artists living and working in Thanet.
Carson Parkin-Fairley transforms The Cupboard into a compact universe that evokes the dreamlike essence of 90s cartoons from the artist's childhood. This installation pays homage to the captivating glow of television, immersing viewers in vibrant animated realms.
Featuring a meticulously crafted miniature living room, it invites the audience to shrink down and experience a surreal after-school reverie. Adorned with miniature neon paintings that celebrate influential childhood shows, the piece encourages viewers to peer inside and lose themselves in nostalgic contemplation.
For those unable to attend in person, the Exhibition can be viewed on Liminal Gallery website
