Bandleader Vaughan Hawthorne-Nelson has penned a wide range of music for the incomparable voice of Hollie Heard.

“I wanted to write music that speaks to the injustices of today. The plight of Palestine has affected so many of us, and music is an important tool, not only of protest, but of solidarity and hope.”

This new group features an incredible group of musicians including Owen Coulsen on drums, the funky Cavan Matcham on guitar as well as local Deal legend, John Buckett on Bass.

This will undoubtedly be a moving evening of music. The title track to their new EP is inspired by the story or Basma Eldoukhi, who will be joining us on the evening as our special guest. Profits from the sale of the EP will go to Medical Aid for Palestine
