Western Undercliff, next to Ramsgate Port and town, is a sandy beach with a small tidal paddling pool, backed by high chalk cliffs. The lower half of the beach is rocky with a chalk reef that extends towards Pegwell Bay.
Be Beach Safe. This means checking the weather and the tides, keeping an eye on your family, and not using inflatables. In an emergency, call 999 for the Coastguard.
