Located within the public waiting room/toilet area on Platform 1 at Margate Train Station
Wall-mounted porcelain tile mural 8.5ft by 5.5ft, designed by local Oscar-winning director Arnold Schwartzman OBE. Arnold is an award winning artist and designer who grew up in Margate
It was originally planned as part of Turner Contemporary's centenary celebrations of TS Eliot's poem The Waste Land, some of which he wrote whilst in 1921.
The mural playfully references the anagram of the poet's name with 'Toilets' and was originally meant to be mounted on the sea-facing wall of the Nayland Rock public Toilet Block.
