Three 5-6' standing stones inscribed with poetry, situated within a small community garden, and designed to be walked through, or sat among.
Installed in 1997 to provide a welcoming pedestrian approach to and from Margate Train Station.
The poems are the result of a public art project by writer Suzannah Dunn and local children. She used the children's written and spoken words about Margate, people, and feelings to create the poems, which were then carved into the stones by sculptor Paul Wehrle.
