A flock of bold brightly coloured large Raven statues can be seen across Ramsgate creating a route from Ramsgate train station, down the High Street and Harbour Street to the harbour.
The Ravens, made of fibreglass with a pulhamite rock effect are each individually decorated (all have silver eyes) from submitted designs by local organisations.
The Ravens have been created through the Ramsgate High Street Heritage Action Zone (HSHAZ) Cultural Youth Programme. The Youth Programme was coordinated by Thanet District Council and students from Chatham and Clarendon Grammar School.
Copies of the map can be picked up across the town and at Visitor Information Centres or can be viewed here trail and statutes
*Ravens can be seen in the designs of 19th century architect Augustus Pugin in the home he built The Grange and the church next door St Augustine’s on Ramsgate's West Cliff
